Achievements/Plans
The Good Neighbors Theater, Inc. (GNT), a nonprofit corporation, is dedicated to the advancement of the arts in Pickett County and the surrounding area. GNT has provided community theater, mystery dinner, sponsored concerts, brought performances from the Cumberland County Playhouse, and worked with the Pickett County School System to provide a professional puppet theater production free of cost to all the Pickett County students.
In order to grow, Good Neighbors Theatre needs a home. Recently, we have purchased and plan to renovate a piece of property on the Byrdstown Square. This will provide a facility for the continued production of artistic and cultural events that will have a significant economic impact for the square and for the community.

Goals
The long-term goal of Good Neighbors Theatre is to develop the arts and culture of the community and to create entertainment for the citizens of the community and to the 900,000 visitors that visit Pickett County during the tourist season. The new building project for GNT is a vital and needed project, related to the overall economic development and exposure of our region and county.

Good Neighbors Theatre would like to thank all of the current supporters in their effort to help the community grow. Pickett County has a variety of talent that the Good Neighbors Theatre has showcased in their performances. In order to continue with the entertainment, GNT would like to see the community continue their effort to make Pickett County grow with arts, culture, and entertainment for all age groups for generations to come.
